PTO Minutes
HENDRICKS ELEMENTARY PTO
President Shelly Caplinger- Cherry called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. There were fourteen in attendance.
Gracia
read the minutes from the December meeting.
Mary Harper asked for a change in the minutes, that we would be using a
grant from Kroger to cover the expense for the parent fair.
Chris
McNeely of Paragon Promotions gave us a presentation for our next fundraiser.
We did not come up with a definite decision. Shelly will be calling her
to let her know if we will be going with this company.
For
December we had 372.5 hours volunteered.
1721.5 hours, overall for this school year.
Steve
read the treasures report. Our
current balance is $10,543.48. We
have $15,184.04 left to spend this year. We are $4,600 short of our obligations.
Shelly
mentioned once again that there are Major Event Chairs for 2008-2009 needed.
She is hoping to get a financial committee together too.
Valentine
Parties are Feb. 14th. The
parties are as scheduled,
Preschool
and Kindergarten 10:15 and 2:15, 1st Gr. 1:15 with exception of Mrs. Moentor,
she is having her party at 2:15. 2nd-5th
will be at 2:15.
There
is going to be a Skate Party March 1st. It will be from 3:00-6:30 p.m. This will be at the Franklin
Skate Club. They will be selling advanced tickets at the school office for
$2.50 and $3.00 at the door. It
will be $1.50 for skate rental. Becky Griffin and Karla Coffey are in charge of
this.
